The post on the right is one way to write it. Yours will be your story. Why it works: A quote that flips the rep’s plan is memorable and teaches how executives buy.
Why it works: Honest about a culture problem most sales teams share, and quotable.
Why it works: Longer cycles worry every rep. Seeing where the time goes helps them plan.
Why it works: Shows how you coach, and readers want to know which one thing mattered most.
Why it works: Book threads get long comment chains and saves from newer reps.
Why it works: An embarrassing slip that turned out well is human and easy to read to the end.
Why it works: A mistake most reps make once, explained in two lines.
Why it works: It says out loud what many reps and managers know about end-of-quarter deals.
Why it works: A simple analysis any rep can run on their own CRM tonight.
Why it works: A specific prep habit people can steal for their next call.
Why it works: Admitting a weak spot invites experienced reps to share what works.
Why it works: Readers want the reason, and it teaches something without selling anything.
Why it works: A missed number, owned honestly, earns more respect than a President’s Club photo.
Why it works: A clear stance on a daily sales moment that reps and buyers both have views on.
Why it works: Real counts from real deals, and a hint at the outlier, pull people to “…more”.
Why it works: An unglamorous habit with a clear payoff is practical and easy to save.
Why it works: Turning the question to buyers brings in people outside sales.
Why it works: A long deal with a crisis in the middle reads like a story people want to finish.
Why it works: Dodging price is a habit buyers hate. The fix is simple and easy to copy.
Most sales professionals are scared of one thing on LinkedIn: sounding like a pitch. So they post nothing, or they post a product screenshot and wonder why nobody replies.
Buyers don’t follow reps for product news. They follow the ones who are honest about how buying and selling really work.
Every idea here comes from the job itself: the deal that died in the last meeting, the objection you still fumble, the quarter you missed. None of them mentions what you sell. That’s on purpose.
Pick an idea that reminds you of a real call or a real deal from the last few months. Change names if you need to. Never change what happened.
Write it for the people you sell to, not for your sales manager. If a buyer would nod along, it’s a good post.
Tip: Never end with a link to book a demo. Do it once and every post after that reads like an ad.

Post what you learn from real deals: a question that worked on a call, an objection you handled badly, what a buyer told you after you lost. Buyers trust reps who teach, not reps who pitch.
Leave your product out of most posts. Talk about the buyer’s problem and what you’ve seen work. If the post would still make sense at another company, it isn’t a pitch.
